Deduptio

FAQ & troubleshooting

Is my data safe?

Nothing is written to Attio until you approve a merge or a list cleanup, and both are reversible for 24 hours. Scans and previews are read-only. Rollback & safety →

I see “Reconnect required”

Your Attio token expired or was revoked. Click the Reconnect link and re-authorize — rules, groups, and history are all kept. Connecting Attio →

My scan found nothing

  • Check the rule's keys — records only group when the rule's attributes match.
  • With ALL, every key must agree; try ANY if that's too strict.
  • Name variations (“Jon” / “Jonathan”) need fuzzy matching, which is a paid feature.

How do I undo a merge?

Merge Log → Roll back, within 24 hours. The merged records are restored and linked so you can open them in Attio.

A group isn't a real duplicate

Hit Skip. Skipped groups don't come back on later scans. If a rule keeps producing false matches, tighten it — switch the rule to ALL or add a second key.

“Merge limit reached”

The Free plan includes 25 live merges per month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited merges, or wait for the monthly reset. Plans & limits →

Why is a record in a list twice?

Usually a leftover from a merge where both records sat in the same list. Deduptio removes these automatically after its own merges; for older duplicates use Remove duplicates on the Duplicates page. Lists →
