Is my data safe?

Nothing is written to Attio until you approve a merge or remove duplicate list entries manually, and both have a 24-hour recovery window afterwards — including a duplicate list entry a merge removes automatically on its own. Scans and merge previews are read-only. A recovery is a re-creation rather than a true undo: field values and associations come back, but notes, tasks, list memberships, emails, calls and activity do not.

What does “Reconnect required” mean?

Your Attio token expired or was revoked. Click the Reconnect link and re-authorize. Your rules, duplicate groups and merge history are all kept.

Why did my scan find no duplicates?

Accepted Answer

Check the rule’s keys — records only group when the rule’s attributes match. With ALL, every key must agree, so try ANY if that is too strict. Name variations such as Jon and Jonathan need fuzzy matching, which is a paid feature.

How do I undo a merge?

Accepted Answer

Open the Merge Log and hit Roll back within 24 hours. Deduptio re-creates the pre-merge records from its snapshot with their field values and associations. They come back as new records with new IDs, and the notes, tasks, list memberships, emails, calls and activity that Attio moved onto the merged record are not re-created.

What if a group is not a real duplicate?

Hit Skip. Skipped groups do not come back on later scans. If a rule keeps producing false matches, tighten it by switching the rule to ALL or adding a second key.

What does “Merge limit reached” mean?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan includes 25 live merges per month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited merges, or wait for the monthly reset.

Why is a record in a list twice?

Accepted Answer

Usually a leftover from a merge where both records sat in the same list. Deduptio removes the extra entry automatically right after its own merges, restorable for 24 hours the same as a manual removal; for older duplicates use Remove duplicates on the Duplicates page.
