Deduptio

Your account

A Deduptio account is an email address and a password, connected to exactly one Attio workspace. This page covers everything about the account itself — the workspace connection is on Connecting Attio.

Signing up and verifying

  • Passwords must be at least 10 characters. There are no composition rules — length is what matters.
  • We email you a verification link when you sign up. You must click it before you can sign in, and the link is valid for 24 hours. If it expires, the sign-in page tells you so — ask us for a fresh one.
  • Your name is optional and only used to address emails.

Signing in

Sessions last 7 days of inactivity, and 30 days in total no matter how active you are — after that you sign in again.

Sign out in the top bar ends the session immediately, on our side as well as in your browser — closing the tab or clearing cookies leaves the session alive until it expires, so on a shared or borrowed computer use the button. Signing out affects only that browser; other devices stay signed in. To end every session at once, reset your password.

Repeated failed sign-ins are slowed down: after five failures within fifteen minutes, further attempts are refused for a short, growing wait (starting at a minute, up to fifteen) and you'll see “Too many attempts, wait a few minutes”. It clears on its own; nothing needs unlocking.

Forgotten or changed password

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. The reset link is valid for 15 minutes — short on purpose, since it grants access to the account. Completing a reset signs you out of every device, which is what you want if the reason for the reset was that someone else had the old password — and is the only way to end sessions you cannot reach with the Sign out button.

Disconnecting Attio

There are two ways, and they do different things:

  • Disconnect in Deduptio — the connection card on the Overview page. Scanning and merging stop until you reconnect. Your rules, duplicate groups and merge history are kept, so reconnecting later picks up where you left off.
  • Revoke in Attio— Attio's workspace settings, under Integrations. Same practical effect from Attio's side; Deduptio will show a reconnect banner the next time it tries to read.

Neither one deletes anything in your CRM, and neither one deletes your Deduptio data.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account and everything stored against it is a request to us rather than a button — contact usand we'll do it. Some things expire on their own regardless: merge snapshots after 24 hours, error records after 90 days, superseded duplicate groups after 30 days, and a scan's working data at the end of the scan.

What we store and how it is protected — encryption of the Attio token, password hashing, CSRF protection — is set out on the security page.

Billing

A subscription belongs to the workspace, not to the account, so connect Attio before upgrading. Plans, prices and what happens at a limit are on Plans & limits.
