Cloudingo alternative for Attio

Cloudingo is a serious Salesforce data-quality product — mass merge, convert, update, delete, real-time dedupe, undo. It is priced accordingly, from $2,500 a year per Salesforce org, and it does not support Attio.
The short version: for the deduplication half of what Cloudingo does, Deduptio is the Attio equivalent, at $59 a month. The rest of Cloudingo exists because Salesforce has Leads, Contacts, conversion, validation rules and triggers. Attio does not, and most of that surface simply is not there to manage.

The Salesforce habit that does not transfer
Cloudingo users are used to automated merge rules: set a filter tight enough, trust it, let it run. That works in Salesforce partly because Salesforce keeps a recycle bin and Cloudingo layers its own undo on top.
In Attio, a merge deletes the losing record and Attio's documentation is explicit that a deleted record cannot be recovered by you or your team. So unattended merging on a fuzzy signal has a different risk profile here than the equivalent job in Salesforce. Deduptio runs scans on a schedule and merges an approved set in one action, but a person approves the set. The 24-hour snapshot window exists precisely because the underlying operation is one-way.
The other habit that does transfer, and should
Filter design. Cloudingo teaches you to build a filter that reflects identity — normalized company name plus country, email plus last name, a stable external id — rather than one loose similarity score across everything. That thinking is the most valuable thing you bring with you, and it maps directly onto match rules: exact keys where the data is trustworthy, fuzzy comparison combined with a second independent signal where it is not.
If you are migrating from Salesforce right now
Do the cleanup in two passes. Duplicates in Salesforce become duplicates in Attio, and the migration adds its own: Leads and Contacts both arrive as Attio people, and email sync can create records from inbound mail while the import is still running.
